Introducing the utah mammoth!
Fans it is official! Today May 7th 2025 will be a day that will go down in history. The team has officially announced that the team name for the future will be the Utah Mammoth!
Over a year after the team was first announced as the Utah Hockey Club, the official name has been decided, ending a year long saga of votes, trademark disputes, and hiccups. But the people have spoken! The Herd marches on and the Outlaws and Hockey Club left in the dust. There is still a big push to keep the moniker Clubbers for the fans, and it works with Mammoths.
Exactly one week after the official Utah Hockey Club YouTube channel changed their handle to @UtahMammoth (maybe someone got the dates wrong for the switch)
The team name may change, but we will always remember that first year as the Utah Hockey Club.
